🧡 Bodhi and the River of Creative Flow ( Chapter 2 )

The Adventure with Nalu

Bodhi walked slowly along the river.

The water flowed gently between smooth stones, making a soft bubbling sound.

The air felt cool and fresh.

Wildflowers grew along the riverbank, and butterflies floated lazily above the water.

Bodhi followed the river carefully.

He still didn’t know where he was.

And he still didn’t know the way back home.

But the river felt friendly.

Almost like it was guiding him somewhere.

Just as he stepped closer to the water…

he heard a loud splash.

SPLASH!

Water flew into the air.

Bodhi jumped back in surprise.

Whoa!”

Something popped up from the river.

A small otter floated on his back in the water, smiling at Bodhi.

Hello!” said the otter happily.

Bodhi blinked.

Oh! Hello!”

The otter spun around playfully in the river.

My name is Nalu!” he said.

Bodhi smiled.

I’m Bodhi.”

Nalu splashed the water with his paws.

What are you doing all the way out here in the jungle?” he asked.

Bodhi looked a little shy.

I think I might be a little lost.”

Nalu tilted his head.

Lost?”

Bodhi nodded.

I was walking through the bamboo forest… and then all the paths started to look the same.”

Nalu rolled happily in the water.

Well, at least you found the river!”

Suddenly he dove underwater.

A moment later…

SPLASH!

he popped back up again, sending water droplets everywhere.

Bodhi started laughing.

Come on!” Nalu called.

Try this!”

He picked up a small flat stone and tossed it across the water.

Skip… skip… skip…

The stone bounced three times before sinking.

Bodhi tried the same thing.

His stone went straight into the water.

Plop.

Nalu laughed.

You have to throw it flatter!”

Bodhi tried again.

This time the stone bounced twice.

Yes!” Bodhi shouted.

Soon they were both playing along the riverbank.

Nalu swam in circles.

Bodhi jumped across the stones by the water.

Butterflies danced in the sunlight.

The river sparkled brightly.

And as they played, something magical began to happen.

The flowers along the river started glowing.

A warm orange light spread through the jungle.

The water shimmered with soft orange reflections.

Bodhi looked around in amazement.

The jungle is changing again!”

Nalu looked at the glowing flowers.

Whoa!”

The flowers shone like tiny little suns along the river.

The jungle felt warm.

Bright.

Playful.

Bodhi felt lighter.

Happier.

Playing made him forget that he had been lost.

But after a while he looked back down the river.

I should probably try to find my way home,” he said.

Nalu floated quietly on his back.

I don’t go very far into the jungle,” he said.

My home is the river.”

Then he turned and pointed downstream with his paw.

But if you follow the river that way, you’ll reach a very tall hill.”

From the top you can see far across the jungle.”

Bodhi looked in the direction Nalu pointed.

In the distance, sunlight touched the top of a tall hill.

Bodhi smiled.

Maybe I can find my way from there.”

He waved to Nalu.

Thanks for playing with me!”

Nalu grinned.

Come visit the river again someday!”

Bodhi waved back.

Then he began walking along the riverbank…

toward the tall hill waiting in the distance.

🧡 What Orange Means

In the Zenmist Jungle, the color orange stands for Creative Flow.

It is the energy of play, movement, and joy.

When we laugh, explore, and try new things, our creative energy begins to flow—just like the river Bodhi discovered.

And sometimes the world around us reflects that joyful energy.

Just like the jungle glowing orange when Bodhi and Nalu played together.
